The Black and White era of Hindi Cinema produced some of the finest talents especially in the field of acting, playback singing and direction. Talented film personalities like Kishore Kumar, Waheeda Rahman, Guru Dutt, Sanjeev Kumar and Naushad have all produced magical work which is admired even by today’s generation. The works produced by these legends are still replicated in some form or the other by the generation of today e.g. through remake of old classics and remixed songs which are a hit amongst the present generation.
Those were the times when film making was a difficult task as compared to today when advancement in technology has made life easier for everyone involved. Classic days of Hindi Cinema are still remembered as they produced some of the finest films including the likes of Mother India, Pakeezah, Mera Naam Joker, Do Beegha Zameen and Baiju Baawra.
Had it not been for the tremendous hard work put in by the legends of the classic cinema age Hindi Cinema or Bollywood as it is known now would not have reached the heights where it finds itself now. All thanks to the inspiration provided by the stars of yesteryears who not just inspired the successive generations but also proved that film making is a fine art which can only be achieved with dedication and hard work.
